手持式X光机主要分为一体机和分体机两类；一体机机长通常在50-70CM，机器设有手提设计，工作时置于平面上，机器两端分别为发射与接受X射线，经过处理后由机器一段自带的影像增强器观测。对于部分高档数字手持式X光机通常可以进行AV视频输出或USB输出连接电脑处理或连接打印机打印。此类一体机不使用时可使用专用手提箱存放携带；另一类分体机多用于工业检测行业，将机器置于水平面左右两端或专用工作台上下对其中产品进行检测，体积相对于一体机要略大些。
The hand-held X-ray machine is mainly divided into two types: one-piece machine and split machine. The captain of the one-piece machine is usually 50-70cm. The machine is equipped with a hand-held design, which is placed on the plane when working. The two ends of the machine are respectively emitting and receiving X-rays. After being processed, the image intensifier brought by a section of the machine is used for observation. For some high-end digital handheld X-ray machines, AV video output or USB output can be connected to computer processing or printer printing. This kind of all-in-one machine can be stored and carried in a special suitcase when it is not in use; the other kind of split machine is mostly used in the industrial detection industry, where the machine is placed at the left and right ends of the horizontal plane or on and off the special workbench to detect the products therein, and the volume is slightly larger than that of the all-in-one machine.
